About this item

BOTZ Engobes

Liquid clay in clear and brilliant colours, 900°–1100°C, available in pots of 200ml.

BOTZ Engobes can be applied to leather-hard or biscuit fired clay. For an earthy matt surface, you can leave the engobe unglazed after biscuit firing (see left of sample tiles). Glaze over with BOTZ Transparent (9106) and fire at 1050°C for a more intense/glossy appearance (right of tiles). Can be mixed with each other to create your own colours.
